Our programs are designed for neurodivergent individuals, including people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work to create compatible groups based on age, interests, abilities, and support needs.
Absolutely. Parents, caregivers, coaches, and participant assistants are welcome to attend with the participant at no additional charge.
Yes. We work with families using Regional Center-authorized Social Recreation services. Participation and rates are based on individual authorization, applicable service codes, approved vendor rates, and Regional Center/DDS requirements.
Activities may include animal care, gardening, cooking and nutrition, arts and crafts, dance and movement, swimming, hiking, life skills, social recreation, tutoring, ranch activities, and special events.
Yes. Families participating in California’s Self-Determination Program may be able to use their individualized spending plan for authorized services at CK Ranch. We are happy to work with families and their Financial Management Service.
No. The Village at CK Ranch is a ranch-based recreation and enrichment program. We do not provide medical care, medication administration, toileting/bathing assistance, or constant supervision for daily living needs.
Yes. Families may participate privately without Regional Center funding. We offer half-day, full-day, Saturday experiences, and individual club options.
Our schedule is developing as enrollment grows. Club days and times are based on participant interest, compatible groupings, staffing and volunteer availability, weather, and seasonal activities. See our Sample Schedule for an example week.
Yes! We encourage families to come meet us, see the ranch, meet the animals, and ask questions. Tours are available by appointment.
